My Journey to UX
Graphic Designer
In 2010, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. I love making aesthetically pleasing designs that are easy to use.
Front-end DeveloperUtilizing online resources, I taught myself HTML and CSS. I hand coded multiple websites before transitioning to building with the WordPress CMS.
Sole ProprietorIn 2014, I started my own web design business. I enjoyed meeting small business owners, learning about their business and offering solutions to help them grow.
Marketing SpecialistWhile working for a news organization I educated and advised sales staff on digital product offerings including websites, programmatic ads, SEO, and more.
User Experience Design
With over a decade of visual design experience and a strong interest in learning more about the people that interact with my designs I began moderating usability sessions. I enjoyed the psychology behind user experience and sought formal training with Prime Digital Academy’s immersive UX program.
